Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Goel Bakery? 

Well, buckle up because we're about to spill the cocoa beans on the whimsical inspirations behind our one-of-a-kind cookie flavours. Get ready for a rollercoaster of emotions, from hilarious mishaps to heartwarming tales.

1) Peanut Burfee Cookie: The one where nutty glided with Burfee

Grandma Goel, armed with a wooden spoon and a mischievous twinkle in her eye, whipping up batches of her famous burfee. 

But wait, what's this? 

Little did we know, she'd sneakily toss in a handful of peanuts, turning a traditional sweet into a nutty sensation! Legend has it, she'd chuckle to herself as she watched us go nuts over her newfound creation.

2) Tutty Fruity Cookie: The one where flavours formed a rainbow

One cold winter Mrs. Goel  stumbled upon a forgotten jar of tutti frutti while cleaning out the pantry. Instead of tossing it out, she sprinkled it into a batch of cookie dough, and voila! The Tutty Fruity Cookie was born - a whimsical blend of sweet, tangy, and downright fruity flavours that'll transport you to a tropical paradise with every bite.

3) Bhujia Sev Cookie: The one where spicy met sweety

Who says cookies can't pack a punch? Inspired by the fiery flavours of traditional Indian snacks, our Bhujia Sev Cookie is not for the faint of heart! 

As a young boy, Mr. Anukul found himself munching on a packet of sev when he stumbled upon his mother in the kitchen, busy baking cookies. Curious, he asked her what she was doing. Seizing the opportunity to involve her son in the kitchen, his mother allowed him to help. However, when her back was turned, Anukul mischievously dropped some sev into the cookie batter. Little did he know, his harmless prank would turn into a stroke of genius. 

Despite his mother's initial frustration, she decided to bake the cookies anyway, intending to teach Anukul a lesson. But much to her surprise, the result was a delightful concoction that combined the savoury crunch of sev with the sweet goodness of cookies. Thus, the Bhujia Sev Cookie was born, a testament to Anukul's ingenuity and his mother's willingness to embrace unexpected culinary adventures.

4) Choco Chip Cookie: The one with the classics

The Choco Chip is the George Clooney of cookies- classic, charming, and timeless. We opted for a nostalgic approach, like rewatching your favourite rom-com. 

Introduced this solely for our choco chip cookie lovers (Mr. Goel being one). You will taste the chocochips in every bite which will take you back to your childhood when you would steal cookies while your mother was asleep in the hot summer afternoons.

5) Kaju Coconut Cookie: The one with the Coco-nutty perfection

Mr. Goel was inspired by a tropical vacation to the sun-drenched beaches of Goa, where he sampled the freshest kaju and coconut treats straight from the palm trees. Determined to capture that flavour in a cookie, he whipped up a batch of Kaju Coconut Cookies - a heavenly blend of creamy cashews and tropical coconut that'll have you dreaming of sunny shores with every bite.

6) Osmania Cookie: The one with the crossover of nostalgia & heritage

Last but certainly not least, we have the Osmania Cookie - a sentimental favourite that pays homage to our roots. Named after the iconic Osmania Biscuit from the streets of Hyderabad, this cookie is a true taste of tradition. 

Mr. Goel’s grandmother used to whip up batches of Osmania Biscuits in her kitchen, and he was determined to recreate that magic which is sort of a remembrance of his childhood. The result? A buttery, melt-in-your-mouth delight that'll transport you back to simpler times with every bite.
